Its Baldomir though. Margarito has faced more top ten welterweights than Floyd and beat most of them. Their is no doubt in my mind he has a better resume at 147 even though he has losses.

 

Yes they were and FAR more impressive. Judah was a former undisputed champion, Floyd tried to cancel that fight and get a fight with Margarito and Baldomir instead but Baldomir wanted 1 more fight(turned out to be Gatti) and Margarito didn't want to cancel his fight with Gomez. Not to forget that Judah was still in the top 10 best Welterweights at the time even after his loss to Baldomir.

Then comes Baldomir, officially #1 fighter at Welterweight and had the lineal title, also a man people demanded Floyd fights if he wants the #1 spot at Welterweight. Don't know if you were around at the time, if you were and you're denying those facts then you're clearly hating.

Who was Six Heads Lewis and unranked Manuel Gomez in comparison to those two?

Margarito only recently was considered the #1 Welterweight, it only took Floyd 3 fights to capture that spot whether you want to accept it or not. The reason why Margarito's resume is better is pretty simple, the man is RETIRED. You make it sound like he's active and fighting unranked opponents, he's retired, of course the active ones will move on and get more fighters in their records, doesn't require any brains.

 

It was pretty clear why Margarito never got the fights he wanted, didn't you notice that ever since he dropped the WBOgus title and he started to get the major fights he wanted?

Bull****, Cintron isn't a former undisputed champion, he's nothing but an undefeated prospect who has done nothing before running into Margarito. Also Cintron's name wasn't really included in the discussion but clearly because Six Heads Lewis and Gomez are worthless you had to pull him into the discussion, here's bad new, he's nothing as well in terms of official accomplishments in the division in comparison to Baldomir and Judah who both were officially #1 in the division, Cintron didn't even come close to that and never will.
