All of Floyd Mayweather Jr fans counter with the same arguement, "Baldomir was the undisputed...", etc. But Carlos Baldomir has never been an A level operator, and I would challenge anybody here at ESB to disagree with that comment.

Mayweather deserves credit for his achievements, but his resume does not reflect that of a fighter who is the best of his generation.

He's levels above anyone due to his superior resume over any opponent mayweather has faced at WW. I won't argue what you consider skills because I know you to be biased towards fighters who don't fit the style you like. However, there is no denying what margo does is effective given the his results at WW. What has baldo done beside beat Judah? Who hasn't beaten Judah?

Margo is close to cleaning out the welter division which is something baldo could never dream of doing.

I have no agenda, I just don't have any obligation to any fighter, and therefore my objective opinion takes over. Floyd did a good job at being a champion at multiple weights, but he didn't beat any great fighters as a Welterweight. No agenda, just the truth.

Carlos was ok. Judah was good at the time. And he beat DLH who was better than all the current WW's at the time.

 

He is not an all time great. You have to clean out each division. Pernell Whitaker is an All Time Great. Floyd should follow his example beat all the best fighters in each division instead of cherry picn very weak belt holders.

You dont have to clean out an entire division to be an all time great. Its more impressive to move up divsion after division and win.

He fought De La Hoya at Light Middleweight, and even that version of Oscar was a shadow of his former self.

Baldomir was an "okay" fighter, just like I said he was.

Judah was an okay 5 round fighter, just like I said he was.

But what I said still holds true, Floyd didn't beat any great fighters as a Welterweight. It's just the truth. He beat great fighters at other weights, but not at 147. Don't respond by disagreeing all of the time, just read what I've put first.
