Nothing is easy work in this game of boxing. It takes one shot to change a fight.

If you started watching boxing before pac fought del la hoya you would know this.

Ever heard of tyson v buster douglas?

    Rahmen v lewis?

    Turpin V Sugar Ray Robinson?

    Cassius Clay V Liston

    sanders v klitchko

I could go on and on.:deal

if its an hard puncher than yes.

btu like I said, most boxer dont punch that hard and connect right on the bottum of the chin and opponent is not falling, especially when the opponent has granit chin.

look at vitaly, he took an picture perfect uppercut from a hard hitter like lennox lewis and did not fall. so what would have happened had an feather fisted heavyweight like maybe brian nielson punched vitaly right on the chin with his best hook? ....right, nothing, vitaly still wouldve stood there, so you theory goes with the wind. bye.

Exactly. And Pacquaio actually said in an interview he'd take less money to make the fight happen then went back on it!

I knew 2 years ago this fight would never happen. Floyd always backs out.

not a mayweather fan or pacquiao fan but question. if pacquaio aggreed to take less to make the fight happen and its a known fact that no one gets 50/50 with mayweather why are pacquiao fans so surprised by these statements from mayweather. Also what if it was 60/40 but all of it not just base amount but the ppv money included would manny be more inclined to take the fight?

if Manny said he would take 40 percent, Floyd would find a way out of it. He would press the testing and make it such an issue that the fight would be a background. Floyd wants to wear guys out before the fight even happens. Pacman has proven he would have fought Floyd years ago. Floyd doesn't want it.

Arum wants money. If Floyd wanted this fight it would already be signed and set for May and June. I have seen this boxing stuff for over 30 years now and it is obvious Floyd just does not want to fight Pacman. Excuses and games and this has been for years. Finally this year it seemed like he might fight him after seeing Manny struggle with Marquez, and still he backs out

Manny's legacy is secure. Win or lose to Floyd he goes down very well. Floyd has to fight and beat Manny for a legacy. Manny has his fights with Barrera and Morales and Marquez and Oscar and Shane and everyone else . He doesn't really need Floyd to go down as one of the best. He beat the best as an underdog. Floyd needs Pacman. Without him people will always say Leonard or Hearns or Duran would have beaten Floyd up. Beating the best makes Floyd's ranking go up in the ATG status. Without fighting and beating Pacman, no one will ever think he could beat those 3 guys. Fighting Cotto won't do it. But Pacman is already in that class. Floyd thinks he is fooling people but he is the one who later will be saying how great he is and no one will listen. He has the chance now to fight Pacman so that later he can have the facts behind his talk that he could match up with the best. He won't do it. He won't take 50/50? Well then his legacy will never be what it could have been. I remember Angelo Dundee saying that the Hearns/Leonard fight was pretty much decided in an airport.

let me guess *****s response in this thread. oh wait nevermind, we all knew what their excuses for floyd's rejecting of that fair 50/50 split. i would just guess all the *****S who would defend him no matter what.
