You're grasping at straws. Floyd's changed his own stance and moved goalposts himself in situations less defensible and you've defended it yourself.

Pac did offer him the better half 55/45 to the loser. I don't get it.

That's what you think. Ride-or-die *****rons will continue to defend Floyd even if he flat out says, "Im ducking Pacquiao".

Pricing yourself out of a fight is the oldest way to duck a fighter. These Floyd fanatics will defend floyd on ANYTHING and everything. Sad ****s...

it shows people in this post have no clue of why the fight isnt really happening...

i like floyd ..i like pacquiao.....

arum isnt allowin this fight to happen...becuz his share of the profits wont be any higher than the fighters...if they fought someone else.. once floyd saw how arum does business..and lack of business for that matter......arums only money maker is..pac...until chavez jr... who might be come one...

both fighters want the fight..... regardless of split...although im not against the 50/50...it would probably get done at 52/48... i like the idea 55/45 to winner...but

look deeper..than this bs...whose duckin who......between the fighters..becuz u be barkin up the wrong tree.......

if both fighters get 40-50 mill...and arum gets 20..he aint gonna do it... plus the dislike..he has for floyd...leaving him after become wise to his business practices...

its business side that is not allowin this fight...

i hope one day boxing fans,,,look deeper into stuff...so the can be really fans of the sport overall....and arum needs to realize becuz people like pac so much it doesnt matter if he wins.....people will watch him fight regardless.....

promoters wont book a show..even if its the show fans want to see..if it doesnt make economic since for them...if to acts require massive compensation...but the risk of the that show not goin well..or doesnt do whats projected....affects the promoters pockets not the acts...the acts get paid regardless.....

    just sayin

Hey I was all for this, and Arum was getting shitted on left and right (appropriately) but the whole situation blew up on Floyd's face when he pulled the ol switcharoo.

He's gonna make more money than Pac regardless because of Pacs situation with his promoter(s) but to try and allocate what money goes where in their (Pacs) camp, well he shoulda had the foresight to see what would happen

Very true, and although people know it some certain posters will refuse to say so and blame Floyd. 50/50 is quite fair in my opinion, but as much as we try to play the money game, we don't have all the details. Floyd sold more ppvs per fight, Pac sold more ppvs total by fighting more is all we know for sure.

Well no **** Captain Obvious. So when one party says he's not amenable to a more than fair split, that kind of talk is part of the business aspect of it. Yet here you are ONLY blaming Arum for the fight not happening? Here's simpler logic for you to digest...promoters won't book a show if the other party is pricing themselves out and goes out proclaiming he won't budge from it.

Arum said a bigger venue to maximize profit, it was floyd who said no to 50/50. If floyd really wanted this fight he could have said yes to 55/45 to the winner, instead he focused on 50/50 to persuade the public 55/45 was never offered
