floyd demands a test, then outpriced himself out of the fight and then wants pac to leave arum.

floyd pulling roadblocks after roadblocks after roadblocks.

How did this thread became complicated? Fans (who arent getting any part of the purse) just wants 50/50 and get this fight made.

Puga, you feel that pac and arum made no roadblocks? They're perfect are they not?

I believe that Floyd will accept the fight under these conditions:

-- 80/20 purse for Floyd (including ALL PPV revenue)

    -- Blood Testing Before the Start of Rounds 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12

-- 12 oz. Gloves (applies to Pac only)

    -- Fight at 154

    -- 80/20 Split in Floyd's Favor

Boxing fans (or anybody else who isn't getting any part of the purse) shouldn't give a **** who gets what.

Co-sign on the fanboy rationalizations. Now its all about Floyd is the A-side and it's "insulting" to even entertain the idea of a 50/50 split against a guy who's outsold him the past 2 years, against a guy who happens to be FOTD and will be 10-15 spots ahead of him in any atg lists. It don't matter how more and more indefensible Floyd's actions get, for extremist fanboys such as *****s, any sliver of an excuse they can make up is "logical" and that there is no way in hell Miss Mayweather is in any way accountable. Despite all that though, I still wanna see the fight before its past its expiration date (if not already). Unfortunately it seems like the only chance of that ever happening is for Pac to continue to be the bigger guy and to make even more concessions ie "reasonable" lower purse splits. If its only an ego thing for Floyd than something like 55-45 should be workable. If it really is a straight duck, expect Floyd to stick to his ridiculous flat fee with no ppv rev.

arum had his tongue firmly placed in his cheek when he made that comment. its hilarious that you continue to use that quote but don't bring up any of the numerous excuses arum had for the fight not to happen on may 5

i think may should give into 50/50 just so he can add pacs name to his resume, but I understand why he's against it

floyd has one of the best business models in the business. he doesn't just get a cut of the ppv and gate, he gets a cut of everything from merchandise to concessions ... he had to buy his way out of his situation with arum to be able to earn the way he does. I get why he's so protective about splits when it comes to his business model

Which is the smarter business decision?

Make 70-100 million for an easy fight that will cement your legacy and raise your stock even more?

Or don't make 70-100 million and have history haunt you forever for pricing yourself out of the fight?

Where in the **** are these morons getting these outrageous numbers? DLH and Mayweather's combined purses for the richest fight in boxing hiostory were $77mil. Now these two guys will have somewhere between $140 and $200 million to split between them? :rofl

No, you're just dumb. The "way to go" isn't for you or I to decide and with Bob Arum publicly stating that 50/50 wouldn't get this fight done, I have no good reason to believe that it would.
