Even if you take all his "personal life" items out of the equation, which I can understand, it's not hard to see why Floyd's personality rubs people the wrong way and they cheer against him. And you know who's more keenly aware of that fact more than anyone on the planet? Floyd Mayweather Jr! He has carefully crafted this arrogant, brash, loud-mouthed character long before anything to do with Baby Mommas, or Gambling or security guards ever came into the equation. He actively seeks out the "Bad Boy" persona because he wisely realizes that is exactly what puts asses in seats and gets people to pay money. And that's fine.

But you can't have your cake and eat it, too. You can't say " Oh hey, I know I played the role of a total Asshat in my last fight, and thank you for giving me millions in the hopes you would see me knocked out, but I'm a REALLY nice guy underneath all that!!"

    Doesn't work like that.

I agree bro. You can go back and forth with the *******s but they won't give any due credit. They just keep hating and hating and hating.

I think most of them are brainwashed like the N. Koreans in regards to Kim Jong. That isn't an insult either; I really think they are that ****ed up in their heads when it comes to Pacquiao.

You don't know how to connect the dots do you...you always end your response with a "question" on what you "think" the other poster said. Nahhhh that's not what he meant but keep trying *******.:deal

Good quote and credit to Mayweather for fighting Cotto at the right weight. I'm not usually a fan, but he's made a good choice this time round (even if the actual fight might not be exciting).

Cotto is Pac's leftovers so not a big accomplishment when Mayweather beats him really.

at least *******s didn't say mosley was shot against floyd and would say mosley was not shot anymore against pac. meanwhhile *****s have no shame saying cotto was shot before pacquiao and are saying now that cotto is rejuvenized and in the best shape of his life when floyd is fighting him next.

Cotto wasn't shot, but he wasn't at his best either. After coming off a pummeling by Margarito and a controversial win against Clottey, where he also took a beating, Team Pacquiao had Cotto fight at a catch weight. Fast forward to today, Floyd is moving up to fight a much more confident Cotto coming off of 3 consecutive wins at 154, a weight that Manny refused to meet Miguel at.

I still consider it a good win for Manny then and a good win for Mayweather now.

LMFAO-You "*******s" were saying that Floyd was scared of the #3 LB 4 LB fighter in the world after Marquez...

#3 in the world "shot and old" Shane Mosley and #1 WW....

Facts are that he was 3 and 1....UP UNTIL THE CONTRACT WAS SIGNED, YOU *******S (AND MANY CASUAL FANS) SAID FLOYD WOULD NEVER FIGHT MOSLEY...ESPECIALLY AFTER MARQUEZ-MAYWEATHER.

Fact-nobody has dominated Marquez aside from Floyd in a fight.
Note-I have never seen Norwood-Marquez...Anyone know if Norwood dominated him?:think
