This thread is talking about PAc possibly being a cheat-not resumes. No one questions Floyd's resume...at least no sane/objective boxing fan...
I don't think Hopkins is as close to having the same desire as Pacquiao. Look at the fuss he's made against Jones and Green.
exactly what was stated before: low risk, high reward. gatti (rip)-no risk, first PPV, money, belt, intro to 140 marquez-no risk, money, claim that he beat P4P #2 hatton-VERY little risk, money, beat a champion, beat a P4P baldomir-no risk, lineal belt at welter, money not saying these weren't legit fights but they were constructed carefully. their were opponents who were just as or more dangerous and more deserving but didn't offer as much
i love floyd's resume until 140. floyd's career up to and including lightweight was near flawless. above that it's not that ****ing great. it's barely passable and it could have been so much more. i WAS a big fan until about 2 weeks ago. i've defended floyd NUMEROUS times but have always been critical of his recent resume.
I love it when people says something like "Pac refused blood testing", maybe they're misinformed or just flat out bias. Idiot is also an option. Facts: - This PEDs thingy started by Floyd Sr.'s "Theory", no proof. Due to Manny's impressive wins over Hatton/Cotto, etc. - Manny agreed to be blood tested (but not so close to the fight night) - Manny is ok with "Unlimited" urine test - Manny is ok with blood+urine right after the fight - Olympic scientists / USADA said all types of PEDs can be detected in urine too - His phobia on blood / needles is legitimate, as proved by the discovered pre-Morales II video interview. - Scientists (more expert than us posters) in the mediation guaranteed floyd that he's protected, that manny's new parameters for testing is enough to detect if one of them is on PEDs. Floyd didn't even bargain to 15 days or 3 days (from 24, that's why it's called negotiaion). He flat out say NO FIGHT when called.
Those are money fights. Floyd is looking for a super fight. When you enter a ring, there is no such thing as high risk, low reward. What you gave was an answer that you could not say in front of a bunch of boxers/champions, and be treated with respect by those boxers... They'd laugh you out of the room. Ask Jay Mariotti, and Mike Wilbon lol...
"Manny accepted what was on the table and Mayweather rejected it. This content is protected He didn't want the fight. He never wanted the fight. I always knew the fight wouldn't happen." That's all you need to know right there. Who ducked who?? floyd ducked pac that is. I mean floyd's team and pac's camp had COME TO TERMS, all floyd has to do is approve it. He did not. END THREAD!!!
