He shouldn't count as a small fighter because he beat a genuine welterweight? You're taking your stupidity to vast new levels.
Your stupidity is pissing me off. By your own ****ing logic, PBF would be a light-middleweight. Man, just think about what you're saying, or STFU.
Who gives a **** about a couple of inches & lbs, if your a true boxing fan, you want FMJ back in the ring.... you dont have to like his character or his antics but if you dont appreciate what he does in the ring then you are not, I repeat are NOT a fan of the sweet science.
That's absolute bull****, Durans, Hearns and Leonard's bodies grew with time, much like Mayweather's. Marquez was at 126 for 13 ****ing years, he was a career featherweight. You're actually trying to say that at the age of 35 his natural body frame has grown to a natural welterweights? Nuthuggers here **** me off. Most (not all) of you are so ****ing stupid.
Cut the ****ing crap. I like to see talented fighters challenging themselves. When they act little better than the likes of Sturm and Erdei, I get to be pissed off.
yes he is a division lower stupid ****, but that was not the point of the debate earlier, you made it out like hatton was small in the same sense as pac and jmm. When pbf beat dlh he was the smaller fighter. Bottom line is pbf didn't cherry pick hatton you stupid ****
Of course he did. There were other, harder challenges for him to take. You know it, I know it. He analyses those fighters he knows he can beat, and goes after them. That's cherrypicking.
hatton was undefeated at that time and 1 top 10 p4p, no matter how you spin it hatton was undefeated, and thats like saying he can't beat the other guys like cotto and mosley. Because he can imo, its just that hatton brings more to the table.
He was undefeated?! OMG he MUST be a genuine challenge then!!!! FFS, being undefeated means NOTHING! Mayweather saw how badly Hatton struggled with Collazo, a fighter just about in the top 10 of the welterweight ranks, and decided it was a nice, safe fight for him to take. I agree that the money Hatton brings in had a lot to do with PBF's choice though.
Its easy to say `easy fights` with hindsight but I heard a lot of people saying that Hattons style, toughness & aggression would give FMJ never before seen problems. I personally predicted FMJ on pts but thought it might be close but clear. Its always easy with hindsight - FMJs last 2 fights vs DLH at 154 & Hatton were extremely dangerous fights to take, I actually thought Oscar would be too big for FMJ so enough of this cherry picking ****, the guy is great fighter & is a legitimate 5 weight champ (all WBC), give it a ****in break (& Im not even a FMJ fan)
so what? hatton saw and talked about how floyd struggled with castillo too..didn't many people(hatton fan's especially and that could be including you since you're from london) talked about a "castillo blueprint" before the fight lol:rofl Fact is hatton was undefeated and a top 10 p4p fighter back then, it is a genuine challenge no matter how you spin it
They were all probably Hatton fans that hadn't seen the Collazo fight. I do agree with the PBF/DLH fight though - I actually give PBF more credit than most for that. And holding the WBC belt means nothing really in itself. It's just another governing body that does its best to omit good fighters from it's ranking when they hold one of the other belts.
