Roy's career was horrible mismanaged, but he's still talked about and ranked in the top 100 ATG list.

Vargas on the other hand yes he did have a horrible management team but he was just a bum and came up short in every super fight he's been in. To be honest with you, I rank Sven Ottke ahead of Fernando Vargas.

    Get over it. :bart

Berto is better than JMM, Hatton & Marquez in your opinion?

RJJ mismanaged? You must be ****ing kidding.

He wasn't tossed in the ring for his 22nd fight or w/e it was, with an ATG MONSTER like Vargas was with Trinidad. Vargas had no right to be in that fight that early.

If you wanna use that comparison, then I just read enough about how ****ing stupid you are.

Vargas got ruined at a young age. He was still getting better. If he had a real ****ing team I think his career would have been way differne.t

In a match with Floyd, yeah. Way more dangerous than any of the guys I mentioned. WTF was JMM gonna do to Floyd? Shoot him? Same with Hatton. HAND PICKS AT THEIR FINEST.

But you're twisting words. Berto is a legit 147 pounds. JMM was not, Hatton really wasn't either, Mosley was old and slow and still hurt Floyd. Did Berto accomplish more in his career than those 3? No, but would he be a better fighter on his resume, **** yeah.

But hey, we all got opinions. I think guys like Berto who are not old and undersized are better to fight than bigger names who are old and bloated.

I know, Floyd beat Ortiz, but Ortiz is a ****ing idiot. He pretty much let Floyd KTFO of him.

OK, first of all, you are going by accomplishments and not resume? What the **** does that mean? They're the same. Can't have one without the other.

Second of all, you list several guys who I'd bet my families lives will never be listed ahead of him in 20 years when one can truly look back at "accomplishments" and resume.

Marciano, Foreman, Frazier, LaMotta, Holyfield, Barrera, Morales, Holmes are all big stretches dude. Not only stretches, just straight up wrong. I know it's all opinion, but you need to not show such an extreme bias of action fighters from the past.

Third, you'd have had a better argument if you brought up Monzon, Hearns, Leonard, guys like Griffith.

Fourth, you claim those guys were all post 1950. Joe Louis, Archie Moore, Ezzard Charles? Just include all of them... Oh, that's right, you couldn't possibly name a list which supports your claims of "if you think he's top 20 you're a POS who doesn't know anything about the history of the sport."

Oh so that's what you mean by "accomplishments." Just whatever the **** you want to support your claim. Cool. You value guys who made action fights as if that is a HOF credential. I guess there is no hope for Calderon afterall...

I'm the biggest Marciano fan out there and rank him as the #4 HW ever. But to list him ahead of Mayweather honestly is stupid. Look at Mayweathers' "accomplishments." 5 weight division. 3 weight lineal champion.

Oh yes. There is your answer. Mayweather has 3 Lineal titles. Genaro Hernandez at 130 (w/ 8 defenses), Jose Luis Castillo at 135 (with 2-3 defense), and Carlos Baldomir at 147 (with 1 defense, retirement). And before you jump on Baldomir's jock, how about acknowledging Genaro as a top 10 130 pounder no question and Castillo as the widely regarded best lightweight of the decade.

Oh wow. I just read that last statement and realized I wasted my time on a troll.

So a former 130 pound fighter fighting Marquez and Hatton was a hand picked fight? People seem to forget Floyd is only fighting at these weights because he already cleared out the lower divisions and had to move up. He didnt move up because he had too

There is no one with a sound mind that can put Floyd in the top 20 especially with the guys he beat !

Floyd Mayweather Jr was tossed in the ring even earlier against Genaro Hernandez. Stop being a little baby. He was already 22, he couldn't rise up to the occasion and got beaten by an overrated man aka Trinidad. Ottke is rated higher than Vargas

    Deal with it.

I completely forgot to put SRL and Thomas Hearns in. I was so riled up with MVC and his ***gotry than I forgot and put up just Hagler and Duran.

But I stand by the names I put up. And take a good look at that 19. Not all 19 were ****ing sluggers. Quite a few names on there could BOX very well.

    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Floyd was ready for that fight. Didn't he beat Genaro down?

Vargas was NOT ready for Trinidad.

    It's that simple.

You're right. I know who Hagler and Duran are but not Leonard and Hearns.

Lopez, the 51-0-1 guy who fought at like, 112 or some ****? Yeah, never saw him fight so I won't just toss him in there, but I did read about him years ago.
