    Floyd's gambling = Floyd's fighting 2x a year.

Wrong. But w/e makes you sleep at night.

There are plenty of safe investments aka ones that you can't just lose EVERYTHING (LIKE SPORTS GAMBLING) You're not gonna lose ALL your money overnight in mutual funds, IRA's, treasury notes, etc.

iceman71 has made 20 posts in this thread. Obviously desperately wants this to be true. Are there not more important things you can waste your time on?

Anyway, gambling large amounts of money is a bad idea. No matter how much money you have. As once you hit a losing streak you will be inclined to bet larger and larger sums, as you have done before. This will take all your money.

Floyd is dumb for gambling like this. He should think about his kids. They will need money in the future more than the las vegas casinos will. He should set them up a trust fund now so they are sorted financially even when he goes broke.

I guess when Canelo faces Lopez, it's a 50/50 fight. Therefore if I put money on both of them I should get the same odds :rofl

Def wrong about that,if it is sports gambling and your good, and win more than you lose, you come out on top,it is not exactly unheard of..

My gut instinct is that this is probably true (we all know Floyd like to bet)

It wouldn't surprise me if he loses a bet this size a few times a year, If that makes me a ******* or a ***** or whatever then, so be it.

The truth is we'll probably never know for sure, people who like Floyd are gonna post "sources" saying he didn't lose, and people who don't like Floyd the complete opposite.

I guess, who cares really? it's his money he earned it legitimately so he can do whatever he likes with it.

The main upside to it being true is that we'll probably see him back in the ring sooner rather than later.

Yeah, cause everyone who invests loses it all (a sports bet loss is a complete loss of the wager) over in a few hours :patsch

Are you really putting forward the argument that it is equal risk as putting money into proper investment schemes and gambling on sports?

Thats crazy man. Putting forward single case examples of your point doesnt prove it either. They are anomolous compared to peoples losses in gambling

Does it matter when you lose it and how long?

How many people invested huge sums in the property market only to see it crash?

If you had put a million(or any amount of money for that matter) on Vitali beating Adamek, you'd have made a 20% profit in less than an hour. When that fight was as close to a certainly as in humanly imaginable.

Show me an investment that can do that?

Theres pros and cons to everything.
