Gambling is a 50-50 chance you win or you lose. What investments are safer?

Football season will be the end of TMT promotions before it even gets started. Floyd and 50 will be betting each other then one will lose and act like a child and start a fight in public. Great friends.

Yeah Money Markets, CD's, Mutual Funds all safer and even Stocks and Bonds

starting a new business can be dangerous but even that i think is better than 50 - 50

and gambling is never 50/50 you got spreads to cover and other complexities

Mutual funds, 10 and 30 year notes are guaranteed but have small returns, savings bonds are guaranteed, etc.

To say investing is simply gambling is just untrue. Wreckless investing is more like what you are thinking.

Mayweather makes so much money, he could make millions in interest and dividends from stocks. But no, he's too busy ****ing betting and losing.

No **** I'm talking about big investments not saving bonds.:patsch

And investing and gambling is the same. You can know everything there is to know but that doesn't mean you will always make money. Just like when you gamble you can make the best bet possible but you can still lose.

If the Patriots are playing the Ravens and the Ravens are getting 7 1/2 points are the Ravens not 50-50 to cover the spread? That's what the spread is after all.

    Ugh, bonds are investments.

No, they are not the same. When you lose a bet from gambling you don't lose a small portion, large portion, half, you lose the entire bet (unless you push). The only way you lose everything on an investment with let's say a stock, the stock would have to go to zero for you to lose it all.

You are comparing apples to oranges, bro. Give it up.

to me 50 - 50 is win or loose without taking anything else into account

like Tyson vs. Douglas was not a 50 - 50 the odds were 42-1 you can only have a 50/50 fight or game with everything else being equal

Not at all. I just know a little bit bout the investing system. You aren't completely wrong, as some investments are HIGH risk and extremely volatile, but to say investing = gambling is just not accurate.

I'm in the 99%, just like you :happy
