Floyd Mayweather Jr. makes it hard to "STAY" a Fan.

This is true. As much as i hate floyd's persona, attitude, gimmicks, and rantings. Once he laces up those gloves and start showcasing his talent (even if I am rooting against him), I can't help but appreciate what he can do inside the ring. The sad thing though, a couple of days after the fight and I see him acting like... well, like himself. I go back to being a hater.

I'm sure you're not alone. I have a customer who's half Filipino/White but He's a Diehard Mayweather fan. We have been debating for years. We already have a Bet in case this fight get signed. But the last Floyd's Bhou haha turned him off. He just said he's done with Mayweather!!

Filipino boxing fans didnt really "hate" Floyd, back when MP was fighting under 135 lbs.

Many out here were actually feeling honored to see FMJ at ringside of MP-EM II, and vocally supporting Manny in the fight.

It was like "Wow, p4p number 1 supporting our guy. Cool."


The "hate" he experiences from Pac fans is not personal.

It will disappear once their fight(s) is over, or when they finally retire both.

 

What diffrence does it make what he does outside the ring? we pay to see him fight. We pay HBO to see him and his oponet train and prepare for the fight very good stuff.
His last 24-7 was a little wack, dont care about Rogers diabetes, dont care about his trainer being lockedup somewhat only somewhat because I know he wont fight with out him. I dont care about his kids good grades. I did enjoy nas dropping knowledge but I wish we see more sparring sessions. He will fight Pac and I would love to see him and Judah spar because it ahs to be his sparring partner!

Yep be a fan of the boxer not the person. Naseem Hamed is one of my favourites but he was a massive dick head.

My problem with Floyd giving it all the i will do this and do that to Poochio is that hes saying it but not making any strides to do it. Smack talk between 2 boxers is usually done to tempt each other into a fight and then in the build up to that fight. Not on this occasion and his excuses dont wash either.

Though i can understand why some Floyd fans stick to their guns, they want to believe what hes saying just like i am trying to do with David Haye.

 

Hamed was a massive ego maniac even now but I don't think he was a dick.

 

Floyd said himself that money not his fans is what matter to him.

So don't bother to be his fan, enjoy his skills,
& cheer for his opponents to knock him out.
