I was in the middle on the PBF v.s. PacMan controversy until late Saturday night. After witnessing PacMan receive the benefit of a "questionable" decision (116-112, please!!), I have totally changed my mind on the issue.
Simply put, regardless of what some may think, Floyd now has a VERY legitimate argument to dictate potential negotiations. In my mind, Pac NEEDS Floyd to possibly erase the taste of poor performances against Marquez. Great fights, but poor performances. In the first 2 fights, you could argue that Manny wasn't the "polished product" he had shown recently. That "polished product" got worked over Saturday night, so now what.
Forget that "Skip Mindless" theory. No way do you step in the ring with a skilled champion like Marquez and fake your way to a slim decision victory. The risk was too great. Marquez has always had the ability to KO Manny at any given moment. Slim chance of getting Marquez to agree to play "patty cake" for 12 rounds when he believes he's been robbed of 2 victories.

. Floyd completely annihilated the same Marquez that took Pac to deaths door 3 times. Only a spectacular victory over Floyd would erase the images of futility versus Marquez ( a smaller fighter). With this knowledge, there's no way Floyd agrees to fight Pac unless he dictates the terms.

His poor relationship with PBF won't make the situation any better either!
