Nobody is reporting that prior to the court date/time (after postponement was denied), Floyd's lawyer filed an appeal on that denial. His lawyer informed the judge (verbially and in writing) that the appeal had been filed, and that Floyd would not be present. This is a standard protocol because now a decision has to be made on the appeal, then if denied, Floyd would have to show up or risk losing by default.
If Floyd won't eventually show up for deposition, he could lose the ruling by default in favor of Pacquiao. Is the court be OK if Floyd will show up only after his September 17 Ortiz fight? Floyd been attending parties and other activities but can't make himself available in court?

I haven't read that thread before, but I nearly coughed coffee out of my nose when I saw it was over 220 pages!
220 pages is only a scratch on the surface. Consider this ... - charges of domestic violence and felony counts of grand larceny, coercion and robbery for allegedly beating his former girlfriend and stealing her cell phone - defamation lawsuit that alleges Mayweather acted with malice by accusing Pacquiao of using performance-enhancing drugs - misdemeanor case from allegations that Mayweather poked a security guard - lawsuit alleges Mayweather bodyguard assaulted a bouncer
