BT: So what's the next chapter for Floyd Mayweather? I know we never know what the future may hold, but you know everyone wants to know if you're fighting again, when you're fighting again, who you're gonna fight, and all that stuff.

    Floyd Mayweather jr:
''Right now, I'm not focused on fighting. I'm focused on taking Mayweather Promotions to the next level with our top fighters''.

BT: Do you see a scenario where you may just retire and never fight again?

    Floyd Mayweather jr:
''As of right now, my mind is not on my boxing career. My mind is on Mayweather Promotions.
I'm focused on all of my fighters.
We're building a dream team. We got Caballero, Gamboa, Dirrell, Billy Dib, J'Leon Love and Ishe Smith.
The thing is, everybody always wants to know what's going on. Is it The Money Team? Is it Mayweather Promotions? At the end of the day, it's about the fighters.
It doesn't matter what banner they're under. As long as the boxers are treated, not just good, but great, and make sure the boxers have comfort; it's about the fighters winning when it's all said and done. Not just having their hand raised, but having comfort''.

He's not focused on fighting because 50 is trying to make a Manny fight. Floyd does not want the fight! He's in the cheque cashing business, but he won't cash Manny's cheque. The guy's a joke!

Before 50 came on the scene, he wanted to fight before the end of the year, but now he's not focused on fighting. What a coincidence. And now we've got all of the "Prison has changed me bollocks!" How long was he in there? 10 years? I can't believe there's still people out there that can't see straight through this guy. It amazes me!

I don't understand how world champion can make a statement like this.

Can somebody shed some light on to why he hasn't been stripped?

He may be dropped from the P4P Rankings if he doesn't fight next year.

He's so focused on promoting that when 50 wanted to get **** moving Floyd stalled and did nothing but gamble of pro and college football.

If he is so focused on promoting when is he going to get a promoters license? And when is there going to be even a whisper about a card scheduled?

Don't know, Mayweather at this point is confused and has been spending heaps of money. We don't know how much he gambles and loses.
You wouldn't post anything on the internet that you have lost a bet, Mayweather will only show the winnings.

Man, what happened to the boxing back in the 70's & 80's where the best fighters fought like 4-5 times a year?

I just wanna see Mayweather vs Pacquiao and they can just both retire after that but unfortunately both are past their primes.

Good points, but there's no confusion for me. He expressed a desire to fight again this year, and he said he had another 4 to 5 fights left, and he was interesting in fighting. Then when 50 does all he can to arrange the Manny fight, all of a sudden, he doesn't know whether he'll fight again. Also, he's that obsessed with money, you'd think that if he had taken heavy losses, he'd want to fight again to make another **** load. He always contradicts himself.

He'll put up every road block possible to not fight Manny.

I don't think the fights ever going to happen.

If Manny gets convincingly beat by Marquez, Floyd will say, "there's no point in fighting him, look what I did with Marquez."

And if Manny wins big, he won't want the fight anyway. The only way we could see it, is if Manny keeps scraping by people. But if that happens, he could still dismiss him. Floyd's a joke! If people just sat back and read through all of his old interviews and look at how he carries himself, there's a pattern that emergers. Everytime Manny wins big, he's on roids. But when he has close fights like with Marquez and Bradley, nobody from the Mayweather camp says ****!

I can't stand the guy, and have saw straight through him years ago.

    Regards, Loudon.

Either way, If Pac loses or wins against Marquez, Floyd still wont fight Pac.
Pacquiao has a lot to prove on December.
    Hope Pac wins convincingly though.
