You're right, it was a good read - the Ndou fight is very underrated, I'm going to have to go back and remind myself. What strikes me most about that piece is how it reminded me much I admired Floyd at 130 and 135

Corrales was no doubt his best win - I can't agree with how Gatti got so high up, completely shot, 33 years old - he was cannon fodder. The Marquez win was over a great boxer, so it deserves top 10 but again too high up when you consider the physical differences between both fighters.

Castillo II deserves to be in that top 10, certainly above Hatton who went up in weight and was again physically out of his depth like Marquez, and also as he avenged the only fighter who "beat him" in my opinion, and did it well against a top lightweight...

    But was a good read:

    Floyd 130-135 >>>>>> Floyd 140,147,(154)

He lost his next fight to a good countryman Hlatshwayo in a SD.

Then retired, came back 5 years later and lost to Lovemore Nodou, also a decent fighter.

Won against 2 club fighters and retired.

I just realised his win over cotto wasent top 10 worthy?

He went up to a weight he looks **** at, fought the champion and beat him at his own game

Had some sort of brain issue that prevented him from fighting as much as he'd like

i think the jesus chavez fight was one of his best performances. Chavez was a lil beast. Cotto, chavez and ndou might have been his most exciting fights.

He doesn't get much credit for Judah, but stylistically its another underrated win in a list of underrated wins. Judah had faster hands, power to hurt Mayweather, as much or more athletic ability. Strong counter puncher from the south paw stance. Judah usually loses to bigger stronger guys but Mayweather was the one coming up in weight.

Only reason why Mayweather won that fight is because of is complete boxing game and brains. If Mayweather was only a slick, counter puncher he would have lost that fight.

    nowhere near.

Floyd will be remembered for his dominance and his longevity and his PPV records.

But his Resume is actually very weak when comparing to other ATG's
