I always said that this is the fight from Floyd that showed how insane he fights in the pocket.

    1. Respect to JMM but he gets outclassed at any weight against Floyd and you know it.

    2. Floyd had just fought ODLH at 154 just a few months prior, that would be stupid to cut down to 140 in the same year ... On top of that he was the WW champ so if Ricky wanted to face him, he would have to go to his weight.

    3. ODLH won 4 rds at best at a weight he had been at for years .., Had just had one of his best wins stopping Mayorga.

    4. Agreed

    5. Cotto was the official champ at teh weight having one three in a row with a newfound mental confidence which is everything in boxing. Also lets not forget that when he fought Pacquiao he didn't even have an official trainer in his corner, if not mistaking it wa a childhood friend or something. That isn't a good look for a championship fight. In regards to Margrito well yes he was destroyed, LITERALLY.

    6. Say what you want but the punch(es) was legal .... And no one ever brings up the fact that Floyd had him hurt in the 3rd and 4th rd which caused Ortiz to a dirty headbutt, which is how we got to the KO in the 1st place

    7. He was his mandatory:smoke. If Floyd wought have fought someone else he would get accused of facing his mandatory challenger

Same here, I expect him to tear Rios up. that says more about Rios, then it does about Pac, imo. I think almost nothing of Rios in terms of being a top tier 140lber, let alone a welterweight.

But, I don't expect Pac to look sensational doing it. Im not saying the outcome wont be sensational, I expect a bloody Rios by the end of it, but I bet come fight night, I will be able to spot the decline in Pacs prowess.

Also, coming off PEDS wouldn't shock me as the reason why theres been the decline, except imo his technique is leaving as well. Add to that theres too many logical reasons as to why he would be declining (his ring age isn't given its due, the guy has every reason to be in a decline, its actually impressive to me hes not moreso)

anyways, we will see how it goes come fight night. :bbb But ya I expect a Pac win, if he doesn't stop Rios, then Pac is officially done.

This. It's bad when your 3rd best win is Guerrero.

Floyd's best wins are : Judah, Baldomir , Cstillo :think and Corley. IMO these fighters tested for real Floyd and they all were top fighters. The rest of all were cherrypicked fighters at the right time. Floyd fought a past-prime old ODLH and still got nightmares. A prime ODLH would've whooped Floyd, period ! Even a shot Cotto gave Floyd hell !

I would like to see in Floyd's resume these fights :

    2009 P.W after his win over Martinez @ 150 or 154 .
    2010 Martinez after his spectacular K.O win over P.W @ 154 .
    2008-2009 Pacquiao @ ww .
    2007 Cotto @ ww .
    2008 Margarito @ ww .
Now, Canelo or Lara - Angulo winner @ 154 .

    Genaro
    Corrales
    Chavez
    Castillo II
    Gatti
    Oscar
    Hatton
    JMM
    Mosley
    Cotto

It's almost a list of his 10 best victories. I can't put Ndou up there; even though it was a great offensive performance I can't help but put a large emphasis on the quality of opponent, so I really can't put it up there.

This is almost exclusively a top 10 victory list, with Chavez being perhaps the one exception because of the combination of opponent quality and performance may bump it over wins that on paper may be better in Guerrero, Zab, Baldomir, etc.

Manfredy is also a worthy shout. Hook combinations until he wouldn't answer back.

***, wipe that cum drop from your lips and stop being such a massive **** !

prime Trinidad, Vernon, Winky, ODLH, Mosley and Hector Comacho would beat Floyd with ease ; prime for prime ! :yep
