Floyd should always be the one who drops down or move up.and people give credit to hagler etc...what a ***** he was, fighting LW duran,WW hearns and SRL. I give no credit to hagler,he holds all the advantages.it would be only fair that hagler would move down and figth duran at WW.Hagler wa hiding behind MW all the years.

According atleast to floyd haters logic.

SRL was also a ducker, duran was definetly at his best at LW.SRL fighted bloated version of Duran.

But duran was never anygood because he lost to SRL,Hearns and hagler.he finally got exposed when moved up from weak LW division

Remember i'm using all the time floyd haters logic

Final conclusion.duran,SRL,hearns and hagler were never any good by this logic

While it's clear Mayweather is lacking options, a fight with Garcia is pointless. Garcia isn't even proven at 147 and even if he was this would be a one-sided fight in Mayweather's favor. I'd rather see Garcia mix it up with the rest rather than cashing out(even though he deserves the payday) and getting his first loss in a one-sided fight he has no chance in.

Matthyse had in his previous fight before Garcia knocked out Peterson so Garciawith victory over Matthyse has lineal title as well.

I know where your coming from but what if Garcia faced somebody credible at 147 first then he goes after Mayweather. I think Garcia is by far the best at 140 so a move up to 147 is logical imo. I like the idea of facing the winner of Bradley vs Marquez. See how he does in that and if he wins and proves people wrong once again then he needs to face Mayweather.

Given the likely options Floyd is looking at (Khan, Alexander, Bradley, Garcia), I would rather see Garcia fight him than any of the others. That said, Garcia doesn't have much hope, and Floyd should be fighting GGG, Martinez, or Pacquiao(assuming the Rios fight goes ok).

Lara doesn't deserve to be mentioned with Floyd. He has done nothing with his career to earn a Mayweather shot.

I can't even imagine what the PPV would look like. #No

Garcia will give Floyd more problems than his recent opponents.

Garcia Vs. Mayweather would be perfect to put on free or cable CBS/Showtime.
Do one of them free weekend subscription things... Take the "L" on PPV but watch the ratings explode.

Because they will have a hard time trying to sell this one.
Plus it will look very bad when they compare it to "The One"

I'd be happier if Danny unified 140, just to say he did it, then moved up and had a big win or two at WW. If he does this I think he becomes a true star. This would make for a legit super fight with an incredible build up in May 2015. Also, Floyd might be faded enough at that point to make it more competitive.
