i haven't seen anyone have an easy fight with danny garcia so i don't know that it would be easy for floyd either. imo...danny's boxing IQ is pretty high. he's alway very well rounded...can crack and can take punches well. his counter punching is excellent....and his jab just cracked matthysse's orbital socket. i'd say he definitely earned his shot....and i think he gives floyd a tougher fight than most expect ala miguel cotto.

As much as i like danny, he needs 1 or 2 fights at welter first. Garcia vs Ortiz is the fight to make. perfect for him

In a perfect world, Garcia vs Broner for a shot at floyd

I know I probably get flammed by this but I think Top rank/Golden Boy should coms together and make Mayweather vs Pacquiao happen. If you think about it that's probably the only logical fight that will have an interest to the media and to the casual boxing fan. The PPV will do extremely well and if you have a good under card again than it will be a hit. The bad thing about it is the feud between Goldenboy/Top rank/Al Haymon is ridiculous and so we are left pondering who should Floyd fight next and to be honest I think Danny Garcia is leading the pack for a potential showdown with Floyd.

If any anybody deserves a shot it's Bradley, should he beat Marquez. Danny isn't a welter weight, and I don't think his first fight at 147lbs should be the top guy in the world. If Bradley loose then I guess give it to Garcia, but he will surely loose against Mayweather. Garcia get's hit to much and Floyd will exploit his willingness to engage. If Garcia is going to move up, he should face Broner instead, that fight makes all the sense in the world.

danny garcia is as good as any, just sucks that he has to come up in weight for the first time.... there are guys at 147 with titles that are more worthy, not a guy in the division below...or 2 divisions below as it stands now

Broner vs Garcia is more important.

    That's what we want.

I agree i am glad I am not the only one who see this as a good fight for both guys. I am a Floyd fan but Garcia can hit and can take one too. I think he would not respect Floyd's power very much(compared to Matthysse) and Garcia would let the combo off, of course he would miss a lot but a few hard shots from Danny would put Floyd in total defense mode!

Why alvarez etc..respected floyd's power?and garcia is 140pounder.danny starts to get little bit overrated because the mathysse fight, remember mathysse was already exposed 2times.garcia is good fighter but not in floyd league.

Do you know the amount of hate floyd wolod get from this fight?last fight was at JMW.
Now floyd would be dropping to WW,and forcing garcia to move up.where he is no tested.
Garcia or khan needs to prove themselfs first at WW.

He has no leverage even if he had 4 belts, he takes what floyd decides to give.
