IMO all Mayweather needs to do IF he beats Hatton is fight the winner of Cotto-Mosley, after that their aint nothing left for him worthwhile. Sure theirs Cintron, Williams etc, but it wouldn't be worth while legacy wise or money wise.

After the Hatton fight PBF will fight 1 more time. He wants to get to 40 wins.

I could see that. And if #40 were to be against either Mosley/Cotto, then only true haters could have anything bad to say about it.

HBO is pushing hard for a unification fight with the winner of cintron/williams facing the winner of cotto/mosley and floyd/hatton. floyd's hands may not hold up for hatton much less the cotto/mosley winner. If he did go for super unification (IBF and WBO) that would make him the greatest of all-time higher then armstrong and robinson. if he beats the cotto/mosley winner I would have him #2 behind henry armstrong.

i just realized something. i think mayweather would only take the winner of cotto-mosley if there is a complete war or domination. if it turns out to be a boring dud, i can pretty much assure you that mayweather won't stay around to fight the likes of margarito or something.

Why say that PBF doesn't need to fight Williams or Cintron? If PBF was my favorite fighter, I'd want him fighting all the top guys while he can still fight. It's not as if he was Morales-faded and people were rooting for him to hang it up.

If he retires, I wouldn't believe it. We all saw how quickly he jumped out of retirement.

30 million to face hatton..and erase any doubts as to who was the best fighter at 140 of course you would.

floyd is hoping mosley wins because then he would be able to end his career with a traditional unification against the one fighter everyone would favor to beat him.

if cotto wins floyd will force cotto to unify with cintron/williams and face the winner.

If Cotto wins, why not face Cotto right after? How is facing Mosely a traditonal unification compared to facing Cotto? If Cotto beats Mosely, doesn't that make him just as worthy of fighting PBF immediately, instead of another elimination after Cintron/Williams?

From what I've seen on these boards, people seem to believe that both Cotto and Mosely have as good of a shot at beating Floyd.
