    1. Bob Arum has Pac by the balls and already announced Pac's next fight will be in November. Not much Floyd can do about that .. and you know Floyd and his "tune ups"

    2. You shouldn't really talk about fighting left overs considering Pacquiao's last two fights were Margarito (somebody Mosley wiped the floor with) and Mosley (someone Floyd beat in a one sided decision)

:verysad Also remember this is a tune up and Ortiz is a young explosive fighter. How many people do you see complain about Floyd and Manny not fighting young guns

For all of those hating on Ortiz the dude has fought decent/good opponents since his lost to Maidana. Nate Campbell, Vivian Harris, Peterson, and Berto. The dude has been taking risky fights which many others would have not if they lost the way he did to Marcos.

Floyd is finally taking on a young lion, not saying Ortiz will win. But this is what boxing needs for these guys to get opportunities like these. Manny should do the same and if anything is as guilty or even more than Floyd for their fight to not being agreed upon. If your an unbias fan you will then truly understand.

Ortiz seriously, the guy who stands straight up and only moves in one direction. Why not a Cotto fight or an Amir Khan. Someone who is not a margarito clone.

And people give Pac **** for his choice of opponents.

I don't get posts like this. Big if, but if Ortiz-Mayweather comes of how is it such a bad fight? Ortiz is young and coming off a very big win where he was an underdog.

by comparison Mayweather-Ortiz is 5x the fight Margarito or Mosley vs Pacquiao will be

if Floyd's a POS for fighting Ortiz than what is Pacquiao for taking on a Shot Mosley and past it Margarito?

Victor Ortiz might not be the big name everyone is looking for but it's ten times better than the garbage Manny's been fighting (Mosley, Margarito)

I mean Mayweather dominated Mosley last year .. and Pacquiao is just coming off a win over Mosley.

this fight is supposed to make everyone think it's a tune up and floyd's coming back for pac. those of us who know floyd well enough understand that he will never fight pac. this is no tune up.

I do believe Floyd will fight Ortiz, but this isn't that credible. I haven't seen any real proof that the two camps have talked to each other
