is a b.s fight, floyd will hype it up as a contest, but its a one sided boxing clinic from floyd to ortiz, merely a tune up or avoid pac some more fight.

ortiz beat a never tested and non proven berto, big whoop!,he doesnt deserve this fight.

hell, even give khan a shot at floyd!.atleast khan has speed, combinations, work rate, heart and stamina to stick to a game plan and try beat floyd.

though khan will most likely fight judah for next fight.

Ortiz is nothing but a predictable limited no brained slugger with a questionable chin and still slightly questioned heart.

Khan chin is more questionable than Ortiz. Amir Khan is a fraud.

It's a far more respectable choice than Pac's last two opponents.

It's a good fight for Floyd. He's been out of the ring for a long while. In Ortiz, he will be facing a young, hungry beltholder who is the next best guy in his weight class (besides Pac, who would not agree in writing to the drug testing). Ortiz is also coming off a huge win and is a Southpaw to boot. Floyd needs this fight right now in my opinion. I think this fight proves he would face Pac, provided the issue with the USADA tests was agreed to. He needs a Southpaw next and he knows it.

Bring it on. Let's see what Floyd has left. I'd hate to see Pac take on a rusty Mayweather. They should both meet at their best, no excuses after the outcome.

Ortiz is going to be a tougher fight than people think. If Pac were facing him, people would be giving him praise. That's because they know that he's proved what he's made of, post-Maidana.

No it's not you jackass. The guy is clearly drained at 140, he comes into the ring at 162 pounds at WW. The guy just manhandled Berto, while showing adversity. He's clearly superior to Pac's last 3 opponents but you don't have the balls to be honest.

Everyone wants Floyd to fight Pac or Martinez, but if it isn't those guys this is literally the best opponent he could've picked. Better than Margo, better than Clottey, and better than Mosley.

Isn't JMM planning to have a tune up with Pac victim David Diaz before lining up his Pacquiao fight?

Ortiz is a much better fight than a shot Margarito or Mosley, why player hate?

These are all rumors. I'll give Floyd props if he takes this fight.. highly doubt he will.

Good warm up fight for him. I hope he gets Sergio Martinez next. That would be a good one.

I would confidently pick Clottey/Margo to beat Ortiz. Margo has a btter resume and has beaten more top opponents than Ortiz & Berto combined. Since when did beating 1 overhype fighter make you a top fighter?
