Good. Its a pointless fight and Id make Ortiz 40/1 underdog. He would literally offer nothing to the fight, not speed, not a lucky punch, not skill, nothing. If Floyd is gonna come back, head straight for Pac/Martinez. If he so badly needs a tuneup, there is Cotto whom I think could really test him.

Well i hope he is.. thats an AWESOME warmup for pac aside from hes not a southpaw. but to go in there against a fighter with current momentum n dangerous power, it'd seem like he's setting himself up if it were true

I don't think Floyd or Pac want to fight each other. Floyd won't fight Pac unless he takes a test and Pac feels not fighting Floyd won't damage his legacy. Which means neither one of these guys really wants this fight because there's to much at stake. If Floyd is fighting Ortiz I do look forward to seeing it. It's better to see that then see him fighting an opponent that's old, pass his prime or he's already beaten.

Look out for the fighthype article today or tomorrow, he may say he ain't fighting at all, who knows, maybe he waiting for his court cases to clear up. One way or the other he should clear some things up.

I didn't believe golden boy would even attempt to put their new star against floyd in the first place, just a lot of hype.

PAC definitely wants the fight kid. Even after Floyd's failed attempt to kill the fight and damage PAC's rep in the process PAC still agreed to all of Floyd demands.

Which is more than we can say Floyd would have done had the roles been reversed and Manny was the one who made up accusations about Floyd cheating then demanded that Floyd take his special tests.

PAC isn't really concerned about Floyd making or breaking his legacy which you touched on simply b'/c his legacy is sealed. He just wants to fight Floyd for personal reasons and for the money.

Floyd is the one who can make this fight happen or continue to kill any notion of the idea. I agree I'm all for the fight if it's truly going to happen, but Ortiz isn't really the best opponent for Floyd. It's a cake walk...we all saw what ortiz did to Berto and we all saw what happened to Ortiz with Miadana. Now I will say it's a good move for Floyd based on Ortiz coming off the Berto win, but let's be honest...Ortiz isn't on Floyd's level and even Shane would be a more dangerous opponent for Floyd.

All were getting from both sides is he said she said crap, but know one knows what the truth is except for the ones that are involved and if both are saying different things how could we believe either one of them. The only way will get the truth is if the next time they negotiate they do it live so that we can bare witness to what is being said by both parties. I'm a Mayweather fan, but enough is enough. It takes two to tango so both are the blame. Ortiz isn't the best opponent out there for Floyd but then again nether was Mosley for Pac.
