Floyd should fight Cotto than Ortiz. Cotto is slower and damaged goods. Ortiz is a dangerous comeback fight. Ortiz got a better Chin and stamina than Cotto.

I think Ortiz would be better preparation for manny than Cotto though.

Ortiz and manny are two aggressive southpaws with toy jabs

Cotto's best punch is his jab.

    Very different styles of fighters.

    Ortiz, better chin? :rofl

Cotto has beaten more top opponents now than Ortiz ever will in his career. Cotto would ktfo Ortiz.

Ortiz IMO is muh more dangerous than Cotto is at this point. He's got his confidence back and will come to win.

Neither of them are iron chinned heroes. It's irrefutable.

Actually.....more recently we've gotten direct quotes from the "horses mouth"....so to speak... but we are getting conflicted information from both men. One says "take the tests"....the other says I will and "OK". Yet we still don't have a fight.

I agree there's enough blame to share the load but we all know that most fo the blame weighs heavily on Floyd's shoulders. Shane definitely wasn't the best choice for PAC but it turns out Berto wasn't the one who everyone expected him to be as he was the one most felt PAC should have fought.

A cotto fight only means something at 154. At 147 the only guys worth it are ortiz or pac

  9. Floyd will have a tougher time with Ortiz than Pacquiao if Pacquiao fights like he did against Mosley thats for sure

PAC wasn't 100% and had an off night yet still dominated Shane more than Floyd. There's no version of PAC that Floyd won't have trouble against....but a 100% PAC is what Floyd is avoiding...for good reason, but he didn't have to go about ducking the fight by creating this whole soap opera.

If true I give Floyd credit for taking a legitimately dangerous fight, against a hungry young champion coming off his best performance to date. I too want to see PBF/Pac but this is a challenging fight and I give Floyd credit for taking it.

"40/1", you are absolutely delusional at this point. Ortiz>Cotto as it stands today, what have you seen Cotto do lately that makes you believe he is better than Ortiz?

Ortiz would beat maidana's ass in a re-match... After seeing a past prime erik morales almost beat maidana and khan school maidana... It makes me believe that maidana got lucky... Looks like ortiz has gotten stronger physically and mentally!
