FMJ has gone on record, more than once, saying his dream match-up in a time machine would be The Explosive Thin Man (whom Floyd idolized growing up, if anyone didn't realize - in spite of their stylistic differences) at super featherweight.

The pair of them also happen to be the names most frequently tossed around for "h2h GOAT" at the weight.

So, in a time machine, which of them emerges victorious? :think

Very good matchup. Arguello has a clear edge in power and experience . However, Floyd has the clear advantage in hand and foot speed. I think Floyd would outbox him for a pretty clear decision. Alexis's foot speed was a weakness, and Floyd wouldn't stand right in front of him.

Agreed, their strengths and weaknesses complement each other well, and I feel this would be a very aesthetically pleasing match.

Floyd has the movement and speed to frustrate AA, but..... Arguello is a precision puncher, amazingly accurate, and if his right hand lands like Mosley's did. I don't see Mayweather surviving.

.. that said...... I gave a vote for Mayweather DEC...... He will find a way to not fight AA, and run and potshot for the win.......

I'd fancy Floyd to outbox & frustate Arguello on route to a decision.
