I always thought it would have been interesting match up of styles. Khan prob would have give problems for Floyd but I think Floyd would find the way to win

Mosley was coming off a massive win over Margarito. Canelo was a 154 champion, Marquez had the biggest win of his career several years later, Oscar was the big money fight, Hatton was undefeated.

There's 2 ways of looking at it and I disagree with your opinion.

Wishful thinking at its finest mixed in with casual level of boxing knowledge. If Khan boxes from a distance and let's his superior hand speed score points then FMJ can't beat him.

You honestly think Khan is going to control range in dictate distance on PBF did I just read that correctly???
How in the hell is Khan going to outbox PBF at distance? Hell Khan can't even fight backing up or off his back foot, he literally runs. Not only that PBF has longer arms than Khan better footwork faster feet and better reflexes. Khan will have moments early but lacks the ring IQ to consistently outbox a master like PBF from the outside throughout the course of a fight. Someone like Hearns could with his speed length and power but Khan **** no.

You like other casuals make the mistake that thinking that if someone throws fast combos that it means that they have faster hand speed. Many casuals mistakenly thought Pac had faster hands than PBF because of that to. They were wrong, Zab Judah was faster than PBF he could beat him to the punch, counter him and was a better natural athlete than PBF. PBF was faster than Pac he could beat him to the punch and had the faster reflexes. That type of one punch speed is more usable in a fight than combo speed. How many guys have landed combos on PBF? PBF also had faster feet than Pac as well. Khan would be no different, Khan is a stiff a one trick pony he isn't faster than PBF and can't throw one shot faster than PBF can. He would have been picked apart beaten to the punch and countered all night long and looked like the slower fighter in the ring guaranteed. No way a flawed leaky defense chinny dumb slower guy who fades is going to outbox PBF from the outside. It's not happening.

Khan was coming off a poor performance in his previous fight against Julio Diaz he got dropped or badly hurt in it if I remember correctly. He also had no belt. While Maidana was coming off a great performance upsetting the unbeaten Broner in grand fashion and he had a belt. There was a poll made that was voted on by casuals and Khan won it because he had a following and was more popular than Maidana. With that said there was a poll here done as to who PBF should fight and Maidana won because people knew Maidana was more deserving than Khan was.

I always get stick for this but if khan avoids getting ko by floyd then i reckon he would have outpointed him. I think khan is or was all wrong for floyd, quick hands and good pumch volume. The way to beat flloyd is to throw combos and plenty of them. Floyd can avoid jabs and one twos all day and night but not so much againat big flurries. If khan used the same game plan as he used for devon alexander.

There is a reason mayweather didnt take the fight as it was a very possible bannana skin. In his prime if you didnt ko khan or drop him several times chamces are ur getting out boxed.

Outboxing PBF???? Let him try to throw combos or up his work rate against a guy who's not there to be hit. But lets say he does, PBF is more accurate with better timing and will exchange with his chinny ass, who do you think will get the worst of that? I won't even bring up the fact that Khan can't fight on the inside and hated any type of pressure and often fell apart when faced with it. I don't get how people think a lesser outboxer is a bad match up for a superior outboxer makes no sense to me??? Khan is too flawed and only does one or two things better than PBF in the ring if that. He's not good enough or complete enough to beat PBF. Khan would be lucky to win 3 rounds off pbf.

History tells us FMJ would find a way to win but the styles make for an interesting match up.

AK's fast hands would get him early success and you might see FMJ hit more than usual. Khan does carry some power, I think Canelo even felt his power a little in their fight, but not enough to knock out FMJ and it all begins to unravel for Khan towards the end.

Like all Amir Khan fights, optimistic start then things start to go south quickly once the opponent finds him ouy

Floyd blatantly ducked Khan & everyone knows it. He hadnt got the punch to KO him & Khan's fast hands scared him. When he enters the ring his entry music should be Coward of the County lol

ROFLMAO Thats what you claim about all the guys Floyd ducked, he'd beat them easy. But he still fought a shot Berto & a tortoise slow Baldomir.
Then had the gall to fight Judah who Baldomir had already beaten .
He ducked that many his name should have been Donald Ducky Mayweather

Yeah scared of a guy who was KOED by Garcia and Presscott. Stop! Had PBF fought and schooled Khan you'd say he fought a cherrypicked glass jawed fighter be full of excuses and not give him an ounce of credit. You would claim he ducked Maidana and should have fought him instead. You're a joke with no credibility.
