    Late stoppage.
    Floyd might press things late in the fight when Berto tires, and leaves himself open defensively.

    Berto is fast and hits hard, so yeah for 2 rounds he will be in it.
    After that it's all Floyd.

    If Floyd is trying to rationalize this because Pacquiao fought Rios and Algieri, well, Rios was one of the only names left in that stable he hadn't fought and who was semi-known and Algieri beat Provodnikov who was going to fight Manny next. Berto beat ****ing Lopez and hasn't been relevant for ages and there's about five acceptable options for him to choose from.

    I'll copy and paste from the other thread why it might just fly as half-logic;

    I can see a case for this being Mayweather ****ing about and stringing the media along for 'bad' publicity mixed with relief and extra kudos when he picks a Khan or Thurman or him actually not wanting to fight another tough cookie after a murderer's row (if we're judging him by everyone else's standards) of Canelo, Maidana x2 and Pacman... and seeing how other fighters can take a softer touch every 2 fights... not saying it's right when he's still the top dog and capable of beating everybody but it's understandable, he may not have lost since Castillo 1 but he has constantly fought acceptable opposition and believe it or not this would actually be something refreshing for him in a bizarre way...

    Also MVC made an OP that is quite restrained by his standards, I expected one of his classics like

    Garcia/Salka this will be a major thriller,I see this fight being an extremely exciting back and forth fight.
    Strap in for this one.

    :lol: What's wrong with you!

    Floyd on a very wide decision.

    Berto's chin isn't feeble enough to get stopped by Floyd, but it won't be even remotely competitive.

    :good

    Mayweather is having more and more little hiccups in both focus and reaction time as the cracks start to show (but slowly, given his insane training regimen and years of conditioning, which I have to imagine has a sort of accruing effect so that even if he does have one lax camp his body is still more or less steeled from all its previous tempering for, essentially, most of his life) so there could be a couple of crazy moments where Berto lands the odd wild roundhouse punch - much as Maidana, to many folks' surprise, got his seemingly bothersome licks in, largely due to his controlled wildness/unorthodoxy of attack - but I have too much faith in Mayweather's recuperative powers and too little in Berto's finishing ability to believe he can stretch those few isolated moments out into anything meaningful.
