Yes I will still need to see a lot more to make a prediction, 3 fights don't explain it all especially when 2 of those fights are against the same opponent and the first fight ended in 1 round.

The reason why I'm not coming up with a quick prediction is simple, it's very easy to say "Mayweather by UD" or "Santos by UD" and I refuse to do that till I see enough of this guy to know how well he will cope with what Mayweather has to offer. I clearly know more about Mayweather here so my vote will definitely favor Mayweather unless I knew enough about Santos as well, which I openly admitted I DON'T and my "decent at best" remark was regarding the three fights I've seen and considering this guy went life and death with a one-dimensional fighter, a GREAT or EXCELLENT or VERY GOOD fighter won't go life and death with a predictable one-dimensional fighter fighting him in his first fight at his own weight. Which is why after you asked me about a prediction vs Mayweather I told you I'll need to see more vs different opponents and a friend of mine recommended the ones I mentioned in my other posts which is why they are on the download as we both type.

These Margo fans are ridiculous. They can't accept the fact that Margo can't overcome the speed difference in this fight and that it will play a huge roll. They also refuse to accept the fact that Margo needs to set his feet to get off.:-( This fight has one-sided boxing clinic written all over it and even an easier fight to pick than PBF-Hatton.

That's my prediction of this fight too, an easier win for PBF than the Hatton fight. At least Hatton was confusing at times, he would come in throw elbows, push, low blow...etc to the point where Cortez looked confused.

Margarito may throw 1000 punches a fight but how many will he land against someone like Mayweather?, the man is far too predictable. He has size, stamin and chin but that's not enough when his technique is extremely poor and it's not like PBF has stamina issues. Margarito will just stalk all night, keep doing the same thing till the final bell, nothing new for someone like Mayweather.

Yea, because Margo can throw 80 punches a round that means his punches are fast. :rofl:rofl:rofl

Hatton is also very small. He needed more speed to get to the target faster. Which meant nothing because Mayweather was stronger inside.

Margarito has a longer jab and he knows how to utilize his height which seemingly goes unnoticed or even downplayed on this forum. The reason he didn't utilize it against Clottey was due to his ankle being sprained. I've asked people on here to look at previous fights and the Clottey fight with objective scrutiny and so far nobody has been honest with what they saw.

Only one fight really needs to be looked at and that's the fight with Sebastian Lujan. Margarito adapted to Lujan and started working behind a jab in that fight. Margarito also worked behind a jab against Cintron. And he has done so against many other opponents. He has the height to work behind a jab and force Mayweather to take chances. DLH proved that if a taller opponent stays on the end of the jab and works from that distance that Mayweather clams up. He is forced to use less footwork because he is forced to think more carefully about his counters. When he cannot depend on the bigger guy giving up his height.

Phillip Ndou and Diego Corrales were fond of giving up their height to get inside and land bombs. Everyone knows that. And that certainly played to the favor of Mayweather. Hatton really isn't a strong guy on the outside which is why he lunges inside and makes it a brawl. He had to be stronger than Mayweather inside. It was his only chance.

Margarito would stick that jab and take the steps back when Mayweather would try to counter. And he'd control Mayweather on size, reach and volume. Mayweather would likely do what he did against DLH and lay on the ropes because attacking would leave him vunerable to the longer opponent. And that would play in Margarito's favor because Margarito has the stamina DLH could only hope for. And he has a devastating uppercut to deal with opponents leaning in.

Margarito uses his reach very well. I don't understand when people say he doesn't use it.

Margarito is excellent at throwing effective punches from a distance and it enables him to come in and then come out.

It's probably why he throws so many punches, because he starts from the outside, throws a staright, followed by a hook and then an uppercut, and steps out of his opponents range while throwing at an opening.
