I am using logic ... its you that hates Floyd so bad that you would pick anyone to beat him.

The logical way of thinking is that Margarito is a come forward fighter w/ limited speed and side to side movement. Poor footspeed, head/shoulder movement, and he comes forward in straight lines. And he's very hittable ...

With that being said ... he'll be so easy to hit and avoid ...

Logically speaking ... Floyd is faster than he is ... hand speed, footspeed, agility, illusiveness, and defense ...

Logically speaking ... how many fighters have you seen come straight forward at PBF and not get picked apart.

Has Floyd ever faced a young welter weight with this kind of size, Chin, Power, heart and Will?
yeah Floyd has all that speed you speak off all that skill you speak of everything you said about Floyd is true, except Floyd has not faced anybody like this yet so you can not truely say for sure that those attributes will be factors.
this fight here would be a first for Floyd and tell me do you really think Floyd can match Margaritos, Power? Will to win? ability to take a shot? or his heart?
Those to are other areas that can carry a fighter a long way in this sport, its not always skills that win you fights kid, when are you going to man up and admit that?

    The following statement:
    contradicts the following statement:
if the outcome of the fight is unpredictable, as you stated, it is then impossible to know who, between the people who picked Margarito and those who picked Mayweather, are knowledgeable.

Still, you claim that only the people who picked Margarito know boxing. How so, given that "the truth is nobody knows for sure"?

Before I leave you with your contradictions, please note that no one is disputing the fact that we can't predict results of boxing fights with absolute certainty. The same can be said about anything. But, like for anything else, trends can be identified from past events and projected in future events with relative certainty. Errors happen. That's the prediction game.

It's perfectly reasonable to pick Mayweather to beat Margarito: there's enough past history to make this assessment. If the assessment is contradicted by results, so be it.

I know you mentioned that Floyd's shoulder roll will be an integral part of his game, but you must realize that because Margarito is taller than Floyd, by a decent margin, and bigger than Floyd, again by a decent margin, if he gets close, he'll be able to drop that right hand over the top and follow it up with a left uppercut/hook.

In fact he can get in close by throwing that hook from the outside and then dropping that right hand over the top, maybe taking a punch in return, but possibly hitting Floyd in the process.

This is a fight where Floyd will have to keep his hands up for a good deal of the fight.

When he's on the outside, he can keep his left down, but when Margo gets inside, look for Floyd to have his guard up.

This is another aspect of the fight that will make it more difficult for Floyd than most people perceive.

Your correct in what your saying regarding my contradiction, However I dont feel that the Margarito supporters here simply chose him out of hate, the way that the vast Majority of Floyd fans chose Floyd out of hate towards tony.
However my point is just cus you say it doesnt make it so, just cus Floyd has good boxing skills that doesnt mean he will automaticly win either, this sport has more to it than just skills.
if you know this sport and I mean if you know it, you will know there is more to it than just skills, you have to deal with the mental aspect of the game and Floyd IMO is mentally insecure about himself, that is why he has so many people around him, that is why he got away from Arum he did not want to have to fight these guys cus he knows how tuff they are.
that is why he chose to fight Baldimor then move on to judah leaving that other 8 Million behind, bottom line is Tony has skills in areas that Floyd has not shown in his entire career and those skills IMO can and do carry a fighter a long way in this sport.

I have been trying to explain this to these people for months already, Floyd will not be safe laying on the ropes like that with his left hand low, especially knowing that Margarito loops with his shot, meaning even if Floyd did have his left hand up, the looping right hand is designed to sneak around that gaurd.
and the way Floyd pulls back while on them ropes with his head up where do you think a looping right hand is going to score?:think

Exactly, if Floyd was taller it would be a different story, but because he's shorter than Margo, and Margo is a rough type of fighter that wants to get inside, Margo will just drop that right hand right over the top.

He'll try to land that punch all night, try to hit Floyd with his knuckles as he drops it, and then follow it up with a left hook or uppercut, especially if Floyd drops down into it, which he'll have to do if he doesn't keep his hand up to block the punch.

if you watch the DLH PBF fight you will see Floyd when Oscar gets him on the ropes, he tends to roll away from the right hand, then pull back a bit to get out of harms way for the left hook then he bends down to get away from the right hand.
Now Tonys style is much different than DLH's, he loops with that right hand more, meaning when Floyd moves to get away from that left hook, he eats a right hand, but even if he should evade it and bend at the waste as he does, Tony will lift his head back up with a left upper cut, weather or not that shot lands wont matter cus a right hand will be behind it.
Honestly its a nightmare fight for Mayweather

Honestly though, Clottey looked like a technical masterpiece against Tony, I can only dream of what Floyd would look like at times, sure it would be a hot night for Floyd because Tony puts the heat on, but the vast majority of his offense will be deflected, Floyd would make him look like an amatuer.

Whilst it would be a HOT night, and a superb fight.. Floyd would UD him.

Clottey was only able to look as good becuase Clottey came forward in spots an challenged Margarito, I doubt Floyd will even dare to think of doing so.

You think a guy that just stands there with his guard up, absorbing punches on his gloves, and then responding in spurts with a combination of fast hooks or uppercuts even though being thoroughly outpunched for the entire round looked like a technical masterpiece?

Especially considering Clottey is pretty much a stationary slugger and Floyd is a boxer.

    Okay.

All thats fine but when you have a fast guy and a slow guy there's no way that the slow guy is going to do anything effective. The fight is going to look like Mayweather v Baldomir II ...

Margarito has never fought a fighter as fast as Floyd ...

His size and chin are fine, but those attributes don't grant a victory against the best fighter in the sport.

His will has never been determined because he hasn't fought anyone of elite caliber ... there's 5 ways to beat Margarito ...

His power is overrated because he knocked out Cintron but he didn't knocked out anyone w/ clout.
It would be very hard for him to knock out an elite fighter who moves faster and better than he does.

Like I said before ... fighting Margarito is like fighting a tree with arms ... who can punch back. No matter what the tree isn't going to move side to side ... he's not going to move his head or his shoulders ... he's just there.

He has trouble against counter punchers ... he has trouble with fighters with movement ... he has trouble against fast guys.

Floyd will just side step him all day and tee off on him --

Floyd puts too much energy into making himself look like an ass, he wont make Tony look like an amateur
