Margo has been at WW his whole career the fact that Floyd can be argued for having accomplished more at WW than Margo is all you need to know.

 

but fighting those guys dosent mean he can beat mayweather. you are comparing mayweather and margo head 2 head. the difference in skill and talent is pretty wide in favor of mayweather. but mayweather caused this problem by thinking he was too good to fight margo.

what are you talking about. all this is subjective. how could you think margo can beat mayweather if they never fought, you made an pretty stupid statement there. mayweather has the superior speed, skill, defense to outpoint margo. its is that hard to believe mayweather would beat margo, if they fought, mayweather would be the favorite.but that dosent mean margo wouldnt have a chance but more then likely, mayweather beats him.

 

Margo will be all over little Floyd he know's and we know also that floyd doesn't hit harder than Cotto or other fighter's Margo has been with so there no way floyd can back Margo off him he will kill mayweather to the body to slow him down dont forget Margo how he treat's little guy's with no power.

 

mayweather dosent win with power anyway, so the fact that cotto hits harder then him means little. and mayweather hits harder then you think. he had dlh shook a little bit when they fought. as for margo beating mawyether to the body, easier said then done. williams and clottey both had speed to bother margo, waht happens against a guy like mayweather. a vicotry for margo is not impossible, but you gotta go with what convetional wisdom, and most likely, mayweather outpoints him.

 

Floyd would out class Margo all day long , it would be wide UD or a stoppage im afraid no one can touch floyd !!!

I wouldn't say it means a little. A heavy hitter returning fire is a very good deterrent. It keeps the other fighter a lot more honest and from just crowding you, which is what Margarito would try to do. The more you can keep Margarito off you, the better. Floyd would have to either constantly move and hit him with not heavy punches, but accurate punches. He has the ability, so it's possible. Or Stand his ground and Margarito miss, which is the more unlikely of the two. Especially at this point in Floyd's career. He won't be in one spot long enough to allow himself too much return fire, but the bad thing is his moving would also keep him from landing more as well.

Very true. Just as it is easier said then done to keep Margarito off you when you can't really hurt him. That said, Floyd should roll doesn't work against body punchers like it does head hunters.

They didn't bother simply simply with speed. You can't ignore the other factors. Like Williams reach advantage. His strength and output. And with Clottey, his high guard defense allows him to pick most off up close. Not to mention he too is a strong WW.

Don't get me wrong, Floyd's speed will bother Margarito. But it'll take much more. Getting in and out for one. Landing 3-4 to every 1-2 that Margarito lands. And upping his output more. Floyd's fought much more conservative with his punches sine moving up in weight, and came against guys who don't throw high volume. That changes things.

Winning on paper maybe. But we know where fights are really won. :thumbsup
