Floyd by WIDE UD. This would be more one sided than Mayweather vs Baldomir.

 

Floyd would dominate every round as long as Froch doesn't land anything big.

Hence my pick Floyd by UD.

 

Aside from the fact Dirrel has a massive reach difference over Mayweather.

I can just see mayweather beefing up to 168 in his frame. Id like to see him run around with extra weight. Maybe he could hang out with Hatton to prepare for the fight.

I rather see Mayweather v Dirrell. The only fight in history with no punches.

 

Floyd hasnt fought a true 147 fighter since 2006, what even makes you think of something like this.

All Froch has to do is go to the body hard and he'll KO Floyd eventually. Even if they are partially blocked. Ridiculous.

So the masterplan is Floyd runs round and round the ring for 12 rounds to avoid getting hit.

In that case I pick Froch by UD with people whining about a robbery for the next 10 years.

If Floyd gets close enough to hit - Froch by KO.

And this is what's wrong with boxing. It seems that if most people who voted for Dirrell judged such a fight, Floyd would quite easily win against Froch - hell, he would win against Samuel Peter, given the way that some people count punches landed as the only thing that counts (i.e. literally running away from the opponent is applauded as long as you can tap him quickly on the way around the edge of the ring and run away before he retaliates). Given this trend, I predict that the next recipient of US boxing hype will be Tyson Gay.
