This might happen because Garcia has looked horrible..lost against herrera..and peterson beat himself that night..its a good sacrafice fight for haymon because Garcia is gonna lose soon anyways

Garcia doesn't really deserve the fight but i suppose Floyd should have easy touch for his last fight, Garcia was already exposed by Herrera and Peterson.

Floyd is on a different level to those guys he will make Garcia look awful

tell floyd to come down to 140, for once in his life he might be at a disadvantage.

The worst fight that is realistically possible ha ha

    Cotto is good

    Golovkin is good

    Khan is good

    Thurman is pretty good

    Canelo is pretty good

    Brook is alright

    Garcia is not

But unfortunately, I'm expecting Garcia is selected as well

Nah, the ship has sailed on this bout for me. Last May/September was the time to do it, after Garcia had beat Matthysse. Instead Floyd fought Maidana twice and in that time Garcia hasn't looked impressive at all.

Based on Garcia's latest performances (and I respect the man highly), I would say no as this would not be competitive and Mayweather would win a boring UD.

Although...Garcia's father vs Floyd's father and uncle would be hilarious. On second thought, let's do this :D

Id love if the fight happened and Floyd schooled him for 11 clear rounds then is doing his typical last round run away.and he gets caught by Danny's left hook and gets done. Would shut up every single person on this forum

I'd rather see Floyd face Ward in Oakland.

    :smoke

I would not mind seeing Danny be the ender of Floyd's streak if it ever had to happen.

Danny is a good solid fighter whom everyone scoffs at despite the fact that he has a very solid resume.

If Cotto wins, he'll be next for Floyd. The WBC loves Floyd, no doubt they'd allow this final defense before letting GGG out of the cage. Wouldn't matter though as the winner would vacate either way.

Ya it' just that he's not as good as Mauricio Herrera. Floyd should fight Herrera.

Mayweather vs Gatti 2 would be a better fight that this.
