Floyd would make Devon quit on his stool.

it's one of those threads that would spark people to say...floyd sucks..why would he fight alexander? **** him..**** floyd... crazy!

everyone can at least agree that Floyd is on another echilon.

If Floyd doesn't fight Pac next, Martinez at 160 is the only viable fight or he risks becoming insignificant. Mayweather is no DLH. He can't sell a fight on his name alone. Mayweather-Alexander wouldn't sell 500K

I agree. Way to early for Devon Alexander. The guy is good no doubt, but no way this fight materializes.

Pre welterweight Floyd was an ATG, WW Floyd is all $$$ and wouldn't spend a single fight on a non marquee easy win fighter.

i think this is certainly possible, it is early still for alexander if this offer was proposed, but you dont really think mayweather and don king were just having lunch do you.

    there businessmen.
and this would be ideal for mayweather as he is a lefty, i suppose at least one person has had an advantage of being left handed (payday)

I hate these type of threads looking as if the fight has been signed or at the very least being negotiated.

if he did take it , i'd give him props. He'd be tking a high risk fight with a young hungry fighter. Something he won't have done in a long time.

It would be the defenition of high risk low reward.

For that reason, this will never happen.
