Pac was either too old or didn't prepare enough. Maybe he smiled and was happy so much because he knew he was going to get the money anyway.

Fights would be more interesting if there was a "winner's bonus money" clause.

Nobody would throw a punch it would end in a draw

Yes we know WHY (give me some credit please). I'm just commenting on how completely dumb that is.

'Ran away' but still.landed almost double the nber of punches that Manny did. Its called hitting and not getting hit and Floyd just did that better. I saw great technique, timing, accuracy, defence and some good old school tricks. Manny had his moments but made no case for winning the fight on points.

Point number 2 is excellent. Mayweather rests at the right times without taking any damage.

One thing this fight really solidified in my mind is that Floyd an absolute MASTER of distilling 36 minutes of boxing into maybe 1 minute of action that actually matters.

So much of every Floyd fight consists of absolutely nothing happening. Most of Floyd's scoring blows are just that...scoring blows. They drag the other guy off balance, get partially or fully blocked, push the head back, etc....but there's no damage being done usually.

And then every time the opponent lands, same story...maybe 1 in 10 landed punches actually has some effect. Most are partially blocked or rolled just enough.

Floyd wins because he has such control over the pace of a fight. He decides when and where the action happens, even if most of the action is totally inconclusive.

    It's amazing yet utterly boring.

Didn't watch the fight, and it sounds like it was a boring fight, so I won't bother watching it tomorrow.

Midget boxing doesn't entertain me that much. Very slight chance of an actual KO, I saw there was 10/1 odds of the fight actually ending in a KO. LOL

116 - 112 for Floyd was the correct score

(despite my earlier tongue-in cheek scoring )

And I was rooting for Manny.

Paulie is a petulant little cu*nt and given his anti-Manny diatribes and meltdowns in the past, should not have been anywhere near the commentators' desk.

I don't think Manny is a sore loser. From his POV at the instant, he quite probably thought he won.

I expect he'll reconsider when he watches the tape.

The sport is called boxing. Not "everybody KO each other".

It was a good fight for Floyd, I just wish he had a better opponent for the sake of entertainment.

Also this fight makes boxing look pretty bad on the public scale. And no I am not talking about lack of KO's but I mean for fight of the century there should have atleast been some more exciting exchanges.
