    i remember a thread posted awhile back which says the one who beats mayweather should have great defense. floyd himself has one of the best defense in boxing. hypothetically, how would floyd deal with someone who has the same exact attributes and style as himself? how would the fight go about and would you watch it? i can only imagine how funny the 24/7 for this gets. thoughts everyone?

    The fight not going to happen. One will ask for 60-40 purse split and osdt and the other one will not sign because he can't find his urge to fight.

    Fight wont happend.

    Mayweather will wait until Mayweather is way over his prime so yea fight will never happend

    It's a valid and interesting topic. If it gets made, the outcome is a draw. One adjusts one after another.

    Floyd doesn't like even match-ups. So if there's a fighter that is exactly like him he won't make the fight.

    I don't know about this, but I know Pernell Whitaker would give him an extremely hard fight.

    i'd expect this to go 12 rounds and would probably register the least number of punches landed for a 12 rounder. sd or draw is highly probable

    you dont need a great defnese to beat FLoyd. Castillo didnt have a great defense. You just need to keep a tight defense, but you don't have to be a mastermind.

    my thoughts exactly and the point of this thread. someone with great defense would only at best eke out an sd or draw against floyd.

    one would be on one side of the ring while the other on another side of the ring shoulder rolling and they'll trash talk for 12 rounds until one is ko'ed, what a brutal fight !!! lol
