Mayweather is a fantastic fighter, however as a welter he isn't quiet as good as Napoles was

    Napoles ud- 8-7 or 9-6

Napoles hasn't got the size to make Floyd fight a safer than usual fight. Floyd is the better operator. I'll call it 9-6.

Mayweather wins this fight. Napoles had issues with cuts, and Mayweather is the faster of the two. I think Naploes would need a TKO to win. Mayweather on points.

I agree - although I don't doubt that Napoles could end it quick should Floyd get too cute in the ring.

I'd make Jose a solid underdog bet.

I'm pretty sure Napoles beats the Mayweather that fought Judah and Baldomir, which is the only Mayweather we have to go by.

At 147 Mayweather's speed didn't look that special and his workrate was pretty pathetic to tell the truth. Napoles' greater strength, power and more agressive combination throwing ability will override any advantages Mayweather might have in terms of defense and movement.

    Napoles 10-5.

At his peak, at his very best, Jose Napoles was very very good, and that means much greater than anyone Mayweather ever fought, ANYONE! Napoles wins by a decision, and his power makes Floyd respectful enough to shy away from Jose. The key to the fight would be Jose's precision power punching making Floyd overly passive enough to lose a decision.
