    Mayweather is jabbing high to get Maidana's focus off the right, then drilling it down into the body. Maidana is trying to close distance so Mayweather can't put as much into those rights downstairs, crowding him onto the ropes and doubling jabs into his guard before clubbing with the right. Mayweather blocks and moves off the ropes. Maidana presses in with the jab and they clinch. Uppercuts traded in close as Maidana remains tight on Mayweather, which Mayweather encourages by standing firm and landing uppercuts. Mayweather backs out, scoring jabs and lead rights.
