    Mayweather is backed up and forced to slump over as Maidana jabs and clubs in. Counter rights down the middle by Mayweather from mid-range, and uppercuts in the clinch as Maidana presses in. Maidana is keeping the pressure on, but Mayweather is moving and countering in rhythm. Maidana brushes Mayweather's forehead with a jab and takes one back. Uppercut across the chest by Mayweather in close. Maidana doubles a light jab and then hacks with the right, blocked. Mayweather lands a counter right stepping around.

    Close fight. Maidana made it difficult to counter. May have laid out the blueprint. But loses 4-8 on my card.
