Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Marcos Rene Maidana RBR

Good fight, but I had Mayweather ahead 116-112 at the end. He landed the cleaner punches during the second half the fight and carried most of the rounds from 6-12 as a result.

 

Maidana landed more than Floyd they makin it look like they landed close to the same. A draw was fair, but it is in Vegas. Finally a worthy opponent.

 

Great fight. Very exciting. I wasn't scoring it but it was very close.

 

Rabbit punches aren't scoring punches. It was great to see Maidana throwing all these punches early on, it made for an exciting fight and it was great to see Mayweather actually in some adversity, but he won. He landed the cleaner shots and made adjustments in the 2nd half and won it.

 

thats just sour grapes. this is boxing and it sucks but fighters get robbed everywhere. there was no robbery, floyd clearly won. even those rounds where al was hangin off. marcos nutts he wasnt landing **** clean. styles make fights.

 

Khan stops Floyd...Floyd is shot. Let's not kid ourselves about Maidana.

Then won round 8. 11 and 12 was close. 115-113 either way. Maidana did more damage in the close round.

Poor Marcos got jobbed. This is why boxing has so many rough days. Crap decisions like this. Floyd DID NOT win more than 4 rounds. All he did was hold and ask Weeks to separate them when he was on the ropes.

 

Maidana won the last two rounds and most of the first half. No way 117-111 is a good card.

Bert Clement 117-111 ruined the good feeling though.
Khan would make an interesting rematch with Maidana as much as Maidana would make fora good rematch with Mayweather.
