Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Marcos Rene Maidana RBR

Maidana was doing good work with the jab on Floyd, avoiding a lot of punches, and landing effective body shots on the ropes, as well as looping overhand rights. Even if they weren't incredibly powerful shots, they were landing nonetheless.

 

Yeah and you know early on Maidana was all over Floyd, I thought the key was his ability to bob and weave his way forward forcing Floyd to the ropes and just unloading on Floyd. Floyd was eating overhand rights and getting brutalized to the body. In the middle rounds, though, really between rounds 7-10, Maidana was not quite as aggressive and it gave Floyd a chance to potshot at center ring. I'd be hard pressed to give Floyd any of the first 6 rounds. It was a tremendous showing from Maidana, I'm still buzzing from that.

Lets be honest, Khan barely survived vs Maidana.

That's what I had it,very good fight mad props to Maidana.

 

I've never seen Floyd like that. I thought he won, but all night his body language was very negative. He didn't look sharp at all. He's fading

maidana did well when he used the jab, it would make floyd stop throwing

he didnt throw it enough in the middle to late rounds.

floyd only countered the jab a handful of times throughout the whole fight
