to be honest I think Floyd is bored with the sport
he flaunts his wealth on facebook, which is not the cornerstone of anybody's happiness in life - so let's see if he follows through with this showtime contract
he loves his money, but if boxing isn't giving him a sense of achievement anymore then he is at a much-needed crossroads in his life (in my opinion)

 

The right man won, but a few rounds were close apart from the clearer Maidana rounds that could have seen the scoring 6-6 to 9-3. 6-6 being favourable to Maidana, 9-3 favoiring Floyd like you did for the cleaner work. I think 7-5 was the fairest reflection of the fight. I know Maidanas punches were sloppier but he landed a lot to the body and had bad intentions in every punch, its not unreasonable to favour that in close rounds either.

Also Id like to see the replay of the cut I thought it may have came from a punch but maybe I missed it.

Anyone scoring for Maidana is a bad card cos Maidana won 6 rounds absolute max, but it was a close fight.

 

Props to Maidana, no doubt.

He's on the short list of fighters to win 3 or more rounds from Mayweather and the probably equally short list of guys who actually physically bossed him around the ring at times.
