Too much sparring partner mentality from Periban. I've seen guys gas out from an unsuccessful finishing salvo, but it seemed a little strange that he went from nearly knocking out Love in the 5th to practically running away the entire 6th, then rarely threw the right to the head afterward.

He is buggery. The have a handful of things in common, he's more Andre Berto than Floyd Mayweather. The patience, timing, control of distance, lack of a a right hand are all the keys to Mayweather for me. Love has a jab...a double jab...a triple jab...and nice foot work.

In fact footwork is about it for stylistic similarities.
