    Maidana will win some early rounds and gas out with the counters by Mayweather to the body along with Maidana having to maintain too high of a punch output

    Mayweather is pushed quickly into the ropes, Maidana raining down with clubbing rights. Mayweather rolls into a ball against the ropes, exposing his left shoulder. Maidana drops a right from above, follows with a left hook and hammers down another right, nicking the back of Mayweather's head and making him jerk back sharply but otherwise landing very little cleanly. More importantly, however, Mayweather is unable to get off any counters as he weathers the storm.
