What? Can I help you with something sir? That's how I saw those two fights. The first fight was close and it was in Kalambay's home country of Italy. Two judges had Kalambay winning by a point, the other had him 4 points ahead. McCallum won the rematch which was in Monaco and again a close fight. One judge had McCallum up by a point, another two points, and the third had Kalambay up by a point. The Nunn KO over Kalambay was a fluke. Nunn beating Kalambay was not shocking, but Nunn stopping him in the 1st round was.
OK. I haven't watched it in a while but I seem to remember the first Kalambay-McCallum fight being an absolutely clear-cut win by Kalambay. A case of one boxer totally outboxing the other. Not sure what the judges were up to. Or maybe I need to watch it again. :good
