On fight night, I had May taking it by pulling out the last couple of rounds so roughly 115-113. I scored it a while ago and had it 117-112 to May.

I always wondered how much sr. influenced the fight and suggested Oscar sum holes or flaws he saw in his son for Oscar to capitalize on 'em...

 

Snr did damage like Emmanuel Steward did before him… sometimes coaches, even the good ones break things trying to mould a fighter.

 

You think Steward made Oscar regress? I think he was the best trainer for him.

 

Steward was a great trainer but he tried making Oscar into something he wasn’t…. Oscar belonged with Jesus Rivero who was the master mind behind the immortal Miguel Canto.
