quintana took so many risks and floyd's mind does not operate like that.... i just dont believe that he could avoid paul williams for a whole 12 rounds without getting in some exchanges..... when is the last time we even saw floyd throw a 3-4 punch combo? against gatti?

    not jmm
    not hatton
    not oscar
    not baldomir
    not zab

i mean think about it ... those were floyds last 5 fights...im sorry but paul is 100% wrong for floyd.. it doesnt have anythign to do with better or worse.... floyd is obviously better than paul... but sometimes styles make fights... i would be that surprised if floyd won

    Get off his nuts Ellerbe.

We already know that according to you fraud fruits he beats every fighter and every style and that he would win the Iraq war single handed ,he has a cure for all the diseases in the world etc.

but unfortunatelly for you he lacks one thing and that is balls.

Exactly the rematch was different because Quintana got caught cold.

    A fluke you might say.:good

Floyd will box PW to death.

all im saying is how is floyd going to avoid paul for a whole 12 rounds?

he could do it against baldomir cause he was slow
he could do it against hatton because hatton punched to wide
he could do it against anyone in boxing right not because they are either to slow, defensively leaky, not active enouhg

but against paul... cmon now....i just cannot see it

Quintana could fight PW ten more times and he wouldnt win any of them so yes it was a fluke.

i mean the way quintana fought against paul williams... FLOYD fights nothing like that... floyd is SOOOOOOOOO ANTI risk and so low volume output... i just would be extremely surprised if he won

and im not even on some nuthugging ****... i just think pauls style is wrong for floyd

what im saying is .... floyd averages how many punches per round? 30? maximum? against guys who are either smaller than him or equal in size.. in his past 5 fights

how is he going to throw 20-30 punches to pauls 100? cmon now...

Paul's height could neutralize Floyd's main weapons on the inside, those being his shoulder roll defense and elbows. I think Paul's best chance of winning is a fight on the inside. I don't think he is technical enough to punish Floyd on the outside and make Floyd pay taking risks to get inside.

    Mayweather UD.

He'd use the ring a lot and take advanatage of Williams's sloppy defense.

Risks in doing what? Getting inside? The risk for Floyd is keeping on the outside looking to counter, he's intelligent enough to know that, and to utilize the risk he will move-in-and-out on Williams pot-shotting, possibly a few combinations and moving.

He didn't throw a 3 or 4 punch combination against those guys because he never had to. What makes you think that Floyd can't move in and out pot-shotting with the right hand and moving and not win the fight? That's what Khan did against Kotelnik, nothing much more than that. And he won.

Yes Williams is better than Kotelnik and throws more punches, but Mayweather is far better than Khan and capable of handling more punchers. The only danger for Floyd the southpaw stance, but he adapted and beat Zab and now he has the experience of facing a southpaw. There's no logical reason you can give for why Mayweather can't win this fight.

Why would Floyd shoulder-roll against a left hander anyway?
