A southpaw style most of the time can trouble a fighter completely. I think Williams didn't prepare very well vs Quintana. Williams on fight night twice in a row weigh in 16 pounds or more over the ww limit and Williams look very dry going in that fight. Whyelse Williams on fight night weigh only 9 pounds in the rematch? I guarantee you Williams won't be like that vs Mayweather thats for sure. Mayweather is known to having trouble with southpaw fighters before like with Corley and with Judah.

This post is so ill-informed I don't know where to start. Floyd does not stand 'toe-to-toe' he will stand in a position where he can look for gaps. If he finds one, he'll take it, if he doesn't, here's more than capable of moving around the ring and starting again. You seem to think that he defends himself in a Pernell Whitaker-style way, you couldn't be further from the truth.

Floyd will block and move primarily for his defence. Watch the JMM fight, and look at the connect percentages. Now you tell me that Marquez missed all those through Floyd using upper body movement and making him miss while standing 'toe-to-toe'. He didn't. The majority were blocked, and the rest were down to movement.

As for 'Oscar's so called jab'. Oscar has a world-class jab and always has done, and it's better than Williams will ever be. Oscar took the early rounds because Mayweather sat on the ropes and let him pump the jab to the body and fire combinations. He did what he did what he needed to do to win that fight, and that was let Oscar gas and take the later rounds. Besides, that was at 154. Floyd has never been a 154lb fighter.

I've asked you before, what 'type of risks' did Quintana take to you? He used clever and quick movement to get inside and land. That's barely a huge risk now, is it? Floyd fights to his strengths, and eliminates risk, that's why he fights like he does because against his recent opponents, that's how the gameplan works & that's what he has had to do to win. Against Williams, he probably can't because of the size and reach difference - not that Williams will use it anyway - so he'll move-in-and-out.

    :rofl What?!

I didn't say Floyd 'flat out ran'. He moves, what do you think he stands in the same ****ing spot all fight?

How you go and fight me a fight where Floyd rarely moved throughout the whole fight, seeing as you don't seem to understand my point.

You got proof of these Fight Night weights for Williams?

Mayweather struggled with Judah early because of Judah's speed and offensive skills. Like EVERYBODY has struggled with Judah early for about the last 8 years. He adapted and won every round there after.

The Corley fight is a complete myth because of that one looping right hook Corely landed that momentarily backed Floyd up to the ropes. He didn't land a single punch in the following combination. He then knocked him down twice later on in the fight and routinately dominated.

Also, Williams has shown he struggles with a boxer with very solid skills with good footwork and discipline, so I figure it kinda evens out anyway.

Its not really lunging if it lands and he doesnt get hit in return. After all he judges the range before he throws it. When he throws it he knows it is gonna land. Watch Pac bout 2 yrs ago and that is lunging.

God, do you even watch Floyd fight? He always leans in with a lead right and will step in behind a left-hook just as often. I suggest you go and watch some more Floyd fights before we continue this debate, because you dont' seem to understand the weapons he has in his arsenal or the different dimensions in which he can operate & fight within.
