Imagine Mayweather trying to do that lean back trick he does against smaller men and being hit flush over and over by Hearns 78 inch reach.

Tell that to Orlando Salido in the Mikey Garcia fight. He got dumped on the canvas four times and each time he got up and doubled his output. He was overwhelming Garcia by the time Garcia's nose broke and they stopped the fight. You can't cow some men, but you can break a brittle spirit. Ray Leonard was not the type to buckle under stress and relent.

Ray Leonard was the Queen B!tch. And nobody - NOBODY - was taking his belts from him (as Duranimal used to say). Ha Ha. Good times, Good times.

Mikey is no defensive wizard like Floyd. But you have a point.
Leonard would definitely go for his infamous flurries.

Hearns definitely beats Floyd. I'd favor Leonard against Floyd.

Hearns is too tall and too long for Floyd. If Hearns choose to keep it on the outside, Floyd is not good enough an offensive fighter to beat Hearns. Floyd had trouble with McGregor's reach and he was fighting a boxing novice. Against a beast like Hearns, I'd take Hearns to win by late TKO or a comfortable decision.

Hearns to me is Floyd's kryptonite. Hell, if Floyd walks past a picture of Hearns he starts to feel woozy.
