Who would have won if Floyd fought Hatton at 140 in 2005 or 2006? I just can't see Hatton beating the Floyd that beat Gatti.
Hatton sure as hell would have done way better at 140 and no Cortez to prevent him from fighting inside. I could see a maidana type performance in those circumstances.
The same exact outcome to the fight.............Ricky Hatton was the "bigger" man. Naturally, walk around, starting weight. Floyd's advantages were not size, they were skill................This needs to be put to rest.
Hatton loves the ref excuse doesn't he? It's bloody karma, because he could have used a bat against Tszyu in Manchester and the ref would have turned a blind eye Floyd is too good for Ricky. It may have been a bit rougher inside, but Floyd could fight inside and proved it against hatton Floyd that fought gatti also was willing to let hid hands go much more, though to be fair he was hitting Hatton with some good combos late on Hatton would never beat Floyd
Floyd would have won, and would have added to the lineage and his legacy. Was pointless at 147... Flo mos for months before the fight: "Floyd can still make 140!"
Floyd would still win but Hatton would've done much better. This is why Floyd's legacy has an asterisks over it he has too many fights that were not what they seemed on paper.
Floyd wins after eating a Big Mac at the end round 1. Chicken wings and Fries at the end of round 2. And then calling up and placing a lazy 200k bet at the end of round 3. To win by stoppage in round 4. Just another day/fight for Floy Mayweather.
Might've been a bit closer, maybe a UD win for Mayweather, but Hatton's not beating him under any circumstances.
This is exactly correct. I am mystified why Hatton's fans have a problem with Joe Cortez but no problem with Parriss's shameful performance in Tszyu Hatton. Unbelievably hypocritical.
