    Mayweather is jabbing at the head of Alvarez from outside. Mayweather gets put in a headlock after throwing a jab, reined in by Alvarez. Bayless gets them split. Mayweather jabs the body from outside. Alvarez circles left and swivels above the waist, peering through his gloves. Mayweather lands a flush jab on the bridge of the nose. 1-2 up top by Mayweather. Alvarez hooks and misses. Mayweather sticks a jab and leaps backward to the ropes as Alvarez goes for a spearing right to the body. Mayweather slips the jab and careens off the ropes as Alvarez reaches for the body with his right. Alvarez shows some head feints while Mayweather threatens with the jab. U-dips by Alvarez. Uppercut by Alvarez just misses at the bell.
